Leaving

I’m leaving first thing tomorrow morning for Florida. My grandmother is in the ICU for the 3rd time in the past two months. We think she’s had another heart attack. I don’t think she’s going to be with us much longer. I don’t know her very well, and it saddens me to think that we were never closer than we could have been.

On a lighter note, I forced my lazy ass to the gym today. It was unfortunately cut short by the fact that I had to go talk to my boss about how I won’t be at work for the rest of the week, but at least I went, right?

I have a mega crush on Davey Havok from AFI. I have no idea why. He’s just deliciously gorgeous.

It was just one of those days where everything felt terribly right and terribly wrong at the same time. Right because I got to spend another day with the most amazing guy I’ve ever met, and wrong because I realize what a horrible procrastinator I am and how I seem to have no motivation. Maybe that’s why I have this blog. Maybe, through some form of magic, this blog will give me some motivation. So, as a first step, let me list everything I need help staying motivated for:

1) College. I start college in January 2010 after taking one semester off. I’m so freaked, though, that I’ve procrastinated so many things that I’ve needed to do in order to pay for college.

2) Working out. I used to work out every day for about 2 hours a day, but I haven’t done that consistantly in over a year. I feel gross. I have a current weight loss goal of 20 lbs. I figure if I do it in small incriments then it won’t seem so overwhelming.

3) Finishing my room. I actually had the motivation to do SOMETHING with it today. I’m putting up lights around my room. It will look like Christmas in here when I’m done. It’s going to be beautiful.

I will have the motivation to write something every day, no matter how long or how short the something may be.
